  1. i am trying out for 7th grade volleyball, and u just have to go for it, be loud and aggresive, and hustle everywere u go, for us we have to run a mile in under 10 min. with out stopping, so just have ur eye on the prize, and work on ur sets and surves for a hwile. the one thing coaches need r setters and serves! setters are hard to find, so be a setter! and with serves, thats how u lose a lot of points in a game so always work on ur serves, if u can only consistantly get underhand serves, then use those and at my skool they will teach u a overhand serve, or u will not make the double A team, u will make the single A. make sure u call the ball! and if two people do, chances are they might drop out form hitting it, so u have to hit it! so make sure u work on sets and serves. and dont forget bumps, and work on dives, coaches admire people who dive for the ball, good luck, update me on how u did

  2. WORK ON OVERHAND NOW! most coaches require that you overhand.

  3. Oh you will have so much fun! I would say have a really positive attitude and don't shy away from the ball. Coachs and players really like people who always try hard and go to the ball, i would also say to master underhand and overhand serves. its great to be versatile!

  4. UNDERHAND SERVERS SUCK! GO TO SOME OVERHANDING NOW! seriously not to be mean of anything but overhanding is way better so work on that and setting isnt hard just have a good push and make a diamond when you sett and make sure to work on calling the ball thats very important

  5. well if you are in th grade. you should be overhand serving to make the team...  but start running and excerising so you will be use to it for the season.  for tryouts make sure that you are always working on improving on what the coaches tell you, be loud and entergetic, be a great teammate...

a tip for sserving. when you serve your feet should be pointed the way you want the ball to go. and for overhand the toss should be low. and you should have a fast swing.

  6. hahaha I remember when I was in 7th grade (lol only like...2 years ago) but anyways...that was my first year in Volleyball. I had a blast! I was a natural...just be sure to follow through. thats the most important thing to remember. good luck!
