Tips getting hired????

I need some to tips to get hired at a first job with no experience. Only 16. Thanks.

You need to put on your resume all the things they want to hear. It doesn't matter if you have to make a little white lie just to make you seem like your advanced in whatever your appling for. Make sure to list EVERYTHING good you've done and nothing bad you've done.

make a list of 3 references, family friends, people affiliated with extracurricular activies, babysitting jobs etc. try to find a place that hires people your age or college students (it should be becoming available considering everybody is going back to school) and write a cover letter and attach it to your application when you apply. (look up instructions online) when you are interviewing, make sure you emphasize the experience you have with ANYTHING else, like school activities to make it known that you are reliable and good with people.

The most important thing is make a good impression with the manager or whoever.  Be outgoing and enthusiastic, show up 15 minutes prior to any meetings/interveiws, wear your best outfit, and don't forget to make eye contact. And yes references from anything will help.
