  1. My coach says that you have to be able to serve to anybody and as hard or as light as you want because serving is how you get the points so i recommend just practicing your serving my coach says that if u can't serve you can't play on the starting line

  2. i'v played volleyball for 6 years and the main thing is power and practice so when u r at volleyball practice just ask the couch if he/she could help you on hitting blocking and setting thats wat i do nd it really helps me a lot i'v really improved.

  3. I play volleyball and the main thing is power.

    Serving:

Have power in your but make sure its in and it gets over the net. So than you make sure you get under the ball and have a routine of when you serve it as well.

    Setting,Spiking and blocking:

When you set have a quick glace at your teammates and set the ball to someone nice and high to where they are. When you spike get under the ball use power and push up NOT down. When blocking go at the same as the person that spiking or bumping etc and don't forget if the ball hurts the tips of your fingers you can hit it again but I HAS TO BE A BLOCK only.

    Good Facts:

The team is always shifted to the left leaving a gap on the right. So when your spiking spike it to the right

    Hope it Helped

  4. Make sure you stay low when you are hitting.

    Jk.

    Ok...

I don't feel like writing a lot, but I'll address hitting a little and blocking.

Hitting- Work on your hand contact! You say you can hit hard. That is great, but you need to work on hand contact to aim. Hand contact determines accuracy, and if you already have power, than this is what you need.

Blocking- Penetrate over the net! Every 1in of penetration takes away 7 and 1/2 inches of hittable area on the cross court line. If you have a 5ft vertical but go strait up, I will bounce it past you every time. You push over and you will house me.

Also on blocking you need to watch the hitter's approach instead of the ball they are hitting. The ball will not tell you where they are hitting, but their body will. Sets off the net are more likely to be hit high and cross court (safe shot).

    Ok, good luck man

  5. i personally play setter,

i would say i really have to practice my sets, i would probably set against the wall that would bounce back. so that way its like playing with a partner, except ur peppering against the wall.

As for middle blocker i would but my hands apart, with some space in between my hands, but not big enough to fit a ball through. That way you can cover up somemore space.

Power hitter, ur main focus would me bumping the ball to you setter for a perfect bump, set & spike. Power hitters are alsoo the main spikers so practice that. To practice that, get a ball and stand some distance apart, throw the ball up & spike against the wall.

    GOOD LUCK!

    ps, practice makes perfect.

  6. When you set, go from face, all the way up

  7. stay low.

    ALL THE TIME.

    low.

    low.

    low.

    LOW!

  8. dont brake your finger (i did)
