Tips on 3 point start?

has anyone got any tips for a 3 point start and how to do it propley so ya can make good use of it. and if ya have any other tips to do with 100m can ya say thanks.

  1. you mean get ready, get set, go?

    at the command of get ready, you shld start yr position. ensure yr hands are about slightly more than shoulder length apart. keep yr footing stable.

    here comes get set, where you get into the position, feel the strength in yr legs and adjust against the platform so that you can get a good push.

    go! use yr strength in yr dominant leg to push yrself forward. think of yr arm motion as "boxing fowards" and "jabbing backwards" for more cutting force. always focus yr attention on yr finishing line, don't bother abt the other players. it's a short 10 to 13 secs burst so focus is the key. oh, and visualising the start helps too.
