Tips on Hacky Sack!!!!?

Ok. I discovered an interest in Hacky Sack a Few Weeks ago and i Need some help. Im ok i guess i can hit it a few times but where i go wrong is, everytime i hit it, it goes off to the side where im not in reach of it anymore. So can some one please explain to me why its doing that or what im doing wrong. PLEASE...

Practice, practice, practice.

The larger the shoe, the easier it is for me (skateshoes are great).

When using your knees, bring them up high.

I'm still working on hitting it beside me with the outside of my foot, but...

Don't try too hard - aka, if the sack goes far out, don't try to catch it with your foot. Let it fall and start again. If you try to hard, you end up exerting more energy and tire easier. I usually find I do better if I chill and relax.
