  1. have a pattern for breathing dont breath through your nose. keep or elbows at 90Degree angle to use less energy

  2. like for a race?? well if it is a race then you are going to be breathing pretty hard no matter what. but if it is just a training run than try to keep it up tempo but relaxed and even. also it is good to be breathing pretty deep

  3. It is always easier to run if you are being chased by something. I suggest you tape pork chops to your butt and have pit bulls released behind you.

  5. Sounds like your first xc race to me. I could be wrong though. Drink water through out the day but dont drink when your not thirsty. Also during your run RELAX. Its no big deal. Stick with a pack or focus on passing people if its a race. Just keep your cool.

  6. just keep a pace. and don't eat before u run cause u might throw up. Also think confided of yourself.

  7. Pace your self, drink a lot of water to hydrate yourself. I recommend listening to music, upbeat happy music hope that helps!
