  1. pilates has some great low stress exercises for the abdominal area.

  2. First: Do some setups.

    Second: Jump rope

    Third: Eat right

Fourth: Make sure you dont hurt yourself

    Fifth: Do poll ups.

  3. Try to do exercises that engage the abs and work them, but aren't directly floor crunches/sit-ups, etc.  Also, really focus on your core - this will make your mid-section really tight and strong and make it easier for you to build abdominal muscle.  Whenever you do weight exercises, make sure your upper abs are engaged and pulled in (but remember you're not sucking in!)  Planks are one of the simplest moves for your core and abs and you don't move your middle: lay on a mat as if you're about to do a push-up but instead bring your body onto your elbows and keep your body stiff, you will quickly feel your abs working to keep your hips up.

Also try butterfly kicks: lie on your back and raise your feet a few inches off the floor, now kick your feet in the air without bending your knees or letting your ankles touch the ground.  Sometimes it helps to keep your hands underneath your back or butt for stability.

  4. Sit-ups
