can anyone give me tips on buying used electronic device?

im getting a nokia n800 internet tablet on craigslist, so how can i make sure it is a good one?

or just any kind of electronic device?

The whole idea behind craigslist is face to face deals.  Ask to see the device in operation.  See if it's what you want and what you expected.  This goes for anything on craigslist.
