  1. If you want to learn on your own, you need to make sure you stretch everyday. It will help with jumps and tumbling more than you think. You could look up drills on the internet to help you. Also try using a trampoline to help with height. If you really want to get better try finding a cheer or gymnastics gym near you. Most gyms have strictly cheer classes to help with jumps motions and tumbling.

  2. make sure that before you do either of them Streatch! one way to improve your toe touch is lay down by a wall, then lift your legs up and put ur butt against the wall as far a you can, then point ur toes and spread your legs out as far as they can go ( try having someone push them down really far) hold for 2 to 3 min. ( it will hurt really bad, but dont stop) then do it like once a day and it will improve ur toe touch

  3. Always stretch before everything....

You may want to do splits ......stretch wrist and ankles!!

For tumbling do some bridges and back bends to stretch out your back!

Jumps are important so keep your legs straight and point your toes....arms need to be straight and locked also in whatever position they need to be in (high v, low v, etc.)!

Tumbling ...alright same keep legs straight and pointed and lock arms!

Back handsprings-Stretch your back handspring out!

Tucks-Set and spot before you rotate to get higher

Layouts-Keep head in..set and brings arms by ears then snap them down to rotate!

    ***Good luck!***

  4. well depending on where you live... you should find the closest all-star cheer gym and enroll in some tumble classes. they teach you very well, quickly, and its fun and safe. as far as jumps... you can probably ask the tumble coach to help you with them too... AND STRETCH ALOT and work on leg and ab strength to help you bring your legs up :)
