  1. If your using a hot iron, make sure you spray heat protection on your hair so your hair doesn't burn. Make sure you do them all the same way, like facing outwards. Don't use too big pieces of hair when curling. I guess thats all, just practice a bit and it will look great.

  2. Don't touch the curling iron while it's hot

  3. hot rollers work the best. Curls will stay in All Day!

  4. make sue your hair is dry, then run a tiny bit of mouse through all of your hair. section it into layers (if your hairs thick) get some tongs and ajust then to how curly you want you hair then simply wrap your hair around to achieve lovely curls but be careful not to burn yourself :D

  5. i have a lot for you!!!

The only time you shouldn't wet your hair is if you're going to be using a curling iron or hot rollers, which will apply heat directly to the hair; the resulting hot water can burn your hair. If you use mousse or gel with these methods, let them dry completely first.

Foam Rollers - Gentle on the hair, more comfortable to sleep with them on; time consuming and somewhat difficult to do without the help of a friend (unless hair is short); using different sizes of rollers adds more flexibility in desired style

Braids - Easy to do, just need bands to tie braids; comfortable to sleep in; makes braids that are more zig-zag in shape.

Curling Iron - Good for making perfect spiral curls; can be time consuming and especially damaging for hair.

Rollers - Time consuming and somewhat difficult to do without the help of a friend (unless hair is short); using different sizes of rollers adds more flexibility in desired style.

Hot rollers (which are applied to dry hair) create more of a soft, romantic looks but the curls don't last as long.[1]

Bobby Pins - "Pin curls" were popular in the 1940s, especially on shorter hair, for making well-defined, skinny curls worn tight to the head.

Straighteners - Even though straighteners (flat irons) are designed to be used to straighten hair, they can also be adapted for creating soft curls, usually curlier at the ends.

Hair Sticks - Instead of wrapping a strand of hair around a roller, you wrap it around a stick, resulting in tighter curls.

Fabric/Rags - More comfortable than rollers; produce effects similar to pins, but fabric is easier to work with and sleep on.

Knots - If you don't have anything to curl your hair with at all, tying it into knots can create curls if done properly.

Apply heat. The heat helps to break any remaining hydrogen bonds. This step is optional. If you curl your hair often, the repetitive application of heat can eventually damage your hair. Hair can be curled without heat, but you'll have to let the hair set for a longer period of time and the curls might not last as long.

You can apply heat with a hair dryer, but don't let the air blow individual strands (particularly shorter ends) out of the curl; place a barrier (such as a bandanna) over your hair when you blow dry.

If you're using a curling iron or hot rollers, you're combining this with the previous step because you're curling and heating at the same time. Keep in mind, however, that even though a curling iron can produce beautiful curls, it's more damaging to your hair than any other method because the higher heat destabilizes the proteins that your hair is made of.[2]

Let the curls set. The new hydrogen bonds that will keep your hair curly only form as your hair dries and cools. If you pull your hair out of the curled shape before it's completely dry and cool then the weight of your hair will break some of the hydrogen bonds and it will not curl as well. If you're using a curling iron, hold the strand in a curled shape until it completely cools. Spritz hairspray to essentially "glue" the hydrogen bonds in place. If you're going for a casual look, you may want to scrunch your hair.

Waterproof your hair. If it's at all humid or rainy where you are (or where you're going) apply a pomade or oil to prevent moisture from penetrating your hair strands. Remember how wetting your hair breaks hydrogen bonds? Now that hydrogen bonds are keeping your hair curly, you don't want moisture in the form of humidity or rain to come in contact with your strands of hair because they'll reset your hydrogen bonds and your curls will be gone like the wind.

  6. put on hair muse for curls, use a hair curler, tie them up for a few hours, hot rolleys...

  7. It really all depends on what your hair is like naturally and also what works best with it.  If your hair is naturally greasy then mousse is a really bad plan and it's better to use a spray such as John Frieda 'Dream Curls' and scrunching your hair dry. If your hair is only naturally wavy then rollers or curling with GHDs is your best option. If you do use a mousse or a cream then a good tip is to twist bits of your hair round your finger and then leave them to dry like that, it creates a more naturally beach babe curl. Hope one of these helps!

  8. I would advise rollers. But if you do use rollers i wouldn't bother buying the long thin ones, because they are very difficult to use, especially if you  have thick hair.

Use the velcro type. Or use straighteners. I have "Mary Kate And Ashley" Curlers and they just make my hair bushy.

Most hairdressers just use rollers or haistraightenersrs.

Just clasp your hair as if your about to straighten it then, twirl it round, as if your playing with your hair.

    Hope this helps

PS : NEVER USE ROLLERS IF YOUR HAIR IS WET ! THIS WILL RESULT IN YOUR HAIR STICKING TO THE ROLLERS WHEN IT DRIES. IT COULD BE VERY PAINFULL TO REMOVE THE HAIR !!!

  9. To get the best kinds of curl for the best length of hair, you have to consider the following things.

Is your hair all one length? Layered? The more layers the more curl and shape. Long layers also apply. Do you have product already dried into your hair for hold? If you cant let it dry naturally, here are quick fixes to get curls on any length.

For short straight hair use 1-inch barrel curling iron, throughout your hair. Curling med pieces of hair making sure you are tucking in the ends so the curl does not flip out. After curling rub some wax or pomade on both your hands. Flip your hair over and rub your fingers through it for a loose curl. If you like the tight curl effort spray some firm hairspray until you are ready to show off your curls.

For medium to long hair it might take a bit of work, but you too can get the waves or curls you like. For un-layered straight hair, you can get a curl, but its going to be very flat on the top of your head and very heavy and curly at the bottom. Invest in some hot rollers at Wal-Mart; getting curls only takes 10 minutes in the hot rollers. Twenty minutes if you are brave and want it really curly. As you wrap the pieces of hair on the roller spray hairspray in a downward movement and lightly stroke the ends before rolling. You get a better-defined curl. Start rolling 1-inch sections from front to back, then do your sides and top. Leave them in 10 minutes and voila! Curls-a-la-Carte. To loosen the curls apply a small amount of BioSilk for a soft shiny finish.

For medium to long layered hair scrunch with Joicos Ice Finisher the hardest hairspray there is out there, but combine it with a soft gel or mousse to give you a softer yet holding curl. Its guaranteed to give you curls all day. Pin some of those pieces of hair up if you plan to make it a night-time event or hot date.

To get the frizz out of any curl use a small amount of BioSilk to any ends. Spray on a spray shine for a final finished look.

  10. use heat protection spray which also has a hold in , hold the curlers on for about 30 secs for best results, and if you want a full head of curls, try rollers over night, they look weird , but trust me, they work ! x
