  1. If you are already using baking soda the you can try this. Apple cider vinegar can be used for teeth whitening. More remedies and information regarding your teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/

  2. There is a product by Colgate called Simply White Night that you can brush onto your teeth at night. I love it. And no, that part about the coffee isn't true. Even if you drink it through a straw, it's still going to encounter your teeth, unless you jam the straw down your throat to drink it.

  3. The straw drinking tip is bunk. If you have severe staining just go to a dentest and get laser whitening,I did and it works great and only cost less than 200 bucks. You can play russian roulette and buy some whiteners from a srore but some cause permanent senseitivity and most just last for a couple of weeks and your back where you started.

  4. Coffee is coffee.  No matter what, it won't do you teeth well.  Funny I read this because I am using a home whitening kit from my dentist that I just got yesterday.  It's basically bleach gel in a tray of my teeth.  My dentist does not recommend using the store bought whitening strips and kits.  Ask your dentist.  If you don't want to do whitening, veneers or porcelains are good options.  But very expensive per tooth. Worth it though..will get in the future for some teeth where I have gaps - will fix the gapping and my color!!

  5. Baking soda works wonders. i use it everday, and have noticed a major difference in color. you can make a paste out of baking soda, and crushed strawberries. crush the strawberry and mix it with baking soda, rub on your teeth and let it sit for a few mins. then brush, then rinse and spit. google this, i haven't tried it.. but i've read good reviews from others who have.

  6. Some people's teeth are just naturally not white as white.  Keeping them as clean and healthy as possible with regular brushing etc. is a good idea, but I wonder about the wisdom of bleaching teeth in the long run.  Keeping them as white as you can naturally might not be the same thing as getting them white.  Getting your dentist to clean your teeth at check-up time is a good idea too, and I would ask them about it then.  Good luck.
