Tips on gluing ribbon to a glass lamp?

I got a new lamp. The shade is glass. It's plain frosted white so I was going to decorate it with blue green and brown ribbon. What kind of glue should I use? Anything else I should do?

  1. Hot glue gun.add little rose buds !


  2. Use super glue and little fabric squares. Steal them out of your brother's craft box. ;)
