I need to pass my drug test which is in one week from today (thursday) and I smoked a lil bit last night. I failed my drug test that my p.o. gave me today and I wanted to know if drinking lots of water and working out and sweating alot will help it.

  1. it probably wont help. weed is a fat soluble substance so it stays in your body longer than say, alcohol.

  2. A great way to get rid of anything in your system is to buy from http://www.directdetox.com I have used them in the past and the service is awesome. Family run operation that understands how you feel and how much privacy is a concern. Fantastic place, I can't say enough about it! They have home drug test kits too!

  3. If you just smoked last night, you will test positive next week.  THC, the active ingredient in pot, stays in your system for 30 days or more.  The tests today are so sensitive, they can detect second hand smoke.  I performed drug testing while I was in college, and there are no reliable method to flush your system, though plenty of people will take your money for a gimmick that doesn't work.  The THC is stored in the fat in your body, so water & sweating won't help you.

    Dude, you need to stop.

  4. How long before last night has it been since you smoked?  If that was the first time in like a month you should be fine.  The people saying that it stays in your system for 30 days are partially correct.  Thats how long it takes for weed to get out of your system when you use it ever day.  So if you haven't used it for 30 days, but then just smoked once last night, then you can expect to be clean in 1-6 days.  Some people say that drinking and sweating cleans it out faster...but I don't really think it would, but it definitely won't hurt your chances.

Christopher G: The tests might be sensitive enough where they can detect it, but there is a certain amount that is allowed.  So they might be able to detect second hand smoke, but it is very unlikely you would fail a test because of it.
