Tips on running 2 miles in 12 minutes?

Can someone give me some tips on how to run 2 miles in 12 minutes? Right now, I can probably do it in 14 minutes, how can I shorten it to 12 minutes?

  1. It depends on what type of pain that occurs towards the end of those 2 miles.

    If it's lactic acid built in your legs I would suggest to start leg pressing - or other ways to strengthen leg muscles.

    If it's because your heart rate is too high - simply work on cardio


  2. short sprints for about 30 seconds then jog for 2-3 minutes and continue for about a 1/2 mile or 1 mile.
