  1. Teach him Sign Language while eating for example you can teach him to sign "More carrots please," I am in a Sign Language Class right now and I really enjoy it

  2. they have posters that show all the signs ! when you sign to him show him on the poster ! make it fun when he wants something show him how to sign what he wants every time !

  3. Sign him into classes or if he's too young then you take the classes and teach him what you've learned.

  4. Use it yourself while speaking to him.  Is anyone in your family deaf or hard of hearing?  Or do you just want him to learn another language?  If it is for knowledge purposes only,  you should use it yourself as much as possible.  Young children learn other languages quite easily, so have fun with it.  There are plenty of books and videos available to help both of you.

  5. I am doing baby signs right now with my daughter.  What works with her is to pick a few signs each week to start with.  Use words that he uses a lot - right now she knows more, all done, hat, and dog.  We are working on eat and drink.  Next week I will pick a few more words to work on.  Repetition is the key with kids this age.

  6. I was development Instructor for 11 years and worked with deaf children   start with colors   say the color sign it  as you say it   just sign everything you  say   they pick up quick .
