  1. turn off the lights...!!!

  2. flip all of the breakers in your electrical box to the off position, stop taking showers or brushing your teeth.

  3. Run appliances like washers and dryers in the evening when the energy rates may be cheaper.  Whenever you turn on the air conditioner run a fan as well.  If you go away, turn off your water heater.

  4. get a large dog and live in a abandon car

  5. don't use that much electricity, and if u can take less showers. don't turn on the fire place that often either. I hope this helps.

  6. obvious ones....turn stuff off etc....

one trick i saw on tv the other day; take a pic of the stuff in your fridge and stick it on the front, then you dont stand there for ages wasting power, then as you take stuff out cross it off the pic =D

also, save money on heating by using electrical heaters in the one room you spend most time and just wear a jacket if you have to go to the others....

  7. well i dont really mind a little heat as long as i have a cool breeze on me. what ive been doin since august (my bill then was 161.00)is ive been keepin my windows open and my a/c off. as far as the cool breeze, i just have a regular fan to blow air around and it keeps the house cool. also, turn your lights off when you leave the house and anything else that youre not using when youre gone, every little bit helps. my bill has dropped down every month by at least 5-10 bucks. my bill this month was only 36 bucks. hope this helps

  8. 1) Turn off lights (Try not to use them in the day time)

    2) Turn electrical items off standby at night

    3) Don't leave electrical stuff on for ages e.g. computers, televisions

    4) When boiling the kettle, only boil the amount of water you need. (No point boiling water your not going to use)

    5) Turning washing machine's temperatures down (e.g. Like the Ariel washing powder advert) to 30 degrees

    6) Energy saving bulbs
