Tips to tone up in 2 weeks?

Got a "mini-formal" coming up in 2 weeks.

I'm quite fit. I just need to tone up the area around my bust/tummy a bit.

(I fit the dress fine, plus look good in it) But if I tone up, I will be happier. :)

Anyone have any tips? By the way, I do not want this to soley be a 2 week crash course thing. I wanna have a plan that I can do on-going-ly.

Any kind of exercise plan would be a nice suggestion. Thank you :)

  1. Try Denise Austin's Yoga Burn DVD. You will tone up in no time. Trust me on this. Yoga by itself makes you target muscles you didnt know you have, and it also erases any sort of pre-conceived notions on how fit you are.

    Just start slow. Lift weights if you can only go through the first 10 minutes of the DVD initially. Target arm muscles. If you are pretty fit already, the best part you would want to show off are your arms. They tone up faster. Try slower reps. Do any toning excersises on alternate days, as your body needs time to recuperate from the previous toning workouts.

    Do core workouts . You can find this in the DVD i mentioned earlier. You will be amazed at how awesome you look if you carry this on for 2 weeks. good luck

  4. Since you say you are already fit, the answer is more difficult.  As I am sure you know, almost any routine will yield results in two weeks with proper diet for those that are not already fit.  The challenge comes when asked to make a fit person "fitter" in two weeks.

    For a two week plan diet is a HUGE deal.  This doesn't mean starving yourself, but it does mean eating "clean" food for the next two weeks.  Veggies should be steamed with no butter or oil.  Eat fruit.  If you eat meat, stick to fish and white meat chicken that is baked or broiled.  The AVOID foods should be anything fried and anything from a cow (milk, cheese, butter, red meat) for the next two weeks.  Of course, candy bars, soda, etc. should always be foods to AVOID.

    Okay, now for the exercise part.  Again, since you are already fit we need to step it up.  Doing more of the same will not make a visual change in a two week period.  You have to change things and your already fit body will react quickly.  My advise is to go to a boxing gym or look on line for boxing routines.  ADD a boxing routine that lasts about 45 minutes TO YOUR CURRENT ROUTINE.  Do this about 5 times a week.  Most boxing routines have you moving all the time with many many different exercises.  They are tough and 45 minutes is a long time.  

    So, you will be eating better, you will be doing your current exercise routine, and you will be doing a quick paced boxing routine.  Two weeks from now you are gonna look great!!!

  5. Jump ropes will most likely give you the best results.  At least 15 min. a day if you can.
