Tips when working at best buy

heeeeey, i just got a job at best buy after going to a fair and doing the on line application and was just wondering from people who have worked at best buy in the past (or currently working) what tips or helpful hints i could use wile working there.

i have never worked there but i have know people that have. people are gonna be nasty so be ready for that and try to keep your cool. know as much as you can about the products and be prepared for some really dumb questions. don't just help girls and ignore old people, i heard some old lady once complaining that the employee ignored her to help some young girls instead. from my experience in customer service, old people are the worst. also everything will be your fault (not really but people will blame the first employee they see for whatever they feel like) so remeber just not to let that get to you. everyone i knew that worked there pretty much liked it, its just like any other customer serive job, the customers can be nasty at times. good luck
