  1. Contac your doctor and have them write a letter on your behalf stating how f***s from raoches can cause asthma and other respiratory problems and that you have not been feeling well.  That should get them moving on it.

  2. Since you're leasing the property, you're the registered owner of the home.  Unless stated otherwise on your lease, you're solely responsible for pest control.

In fact, you may be breaking your lease by not hiring a professional.  If you check your lease you'll probably see a spot that says you must take care of the property.  The leasing company may pay for repairs due to normal wear and tear, but this is not any such thing.

Instead of wasting your time with boric acid and wasting your time with Ortho, hire a professional.

Most homes are going to take 5-10 gallons of spray, properly applied to fix your problem.  Not to mention the fact that your townhouse is probably attached to another and the problem may be coming from your neighbor.

A responsible, professional, knowledgeable pest control professional can cure your problem.  It's worth every cent to get your problem taken care of in a few months rather than go a few years living with the disease-carrying insects.
