Tired of stinky boys?

My son is 11 and I sometimes get tired of his friends. I have been having to make a lot of rules this summer.

1. No taking shoes off - Whoa for a couple of days before I made this rule my sons room started smelling like the boys locker room - because they would all have their shoes off!

2. No fighting or you are going home - These two brothers that my son is friends with like to threaten each other with "I'm telling mom" then they start wrestling or punching each other and making each other cry

That’s just an example

I love that my son has lots of friends, but I am 25 weeks pregnant and probably just hormonal

Do any other parents have stories of their kids friends driving them crazy?

anyways my rule is alwyas either have them help you clean or you clean up after them

The rule when I was younger and had friends over was:

1. Clean up for 3 days before they arrive. They are allowed in the house for 1 hour (2 hours if it is raining), then they must return home, and clean for three days after.

I did not have people over very much.

OMG yes..lol...Mine is 11 and half...they are just LOUD...with their Guitar Hero c**p, their Youtube videos, etc...even on the nicest of days-they want to be IN the house, on the comp. or playing the Guitar Hero-the same stupid songs, over and over and over, etc...lol...Congrats on the baby!!!!

get rid of the rules -start using the word YES.  it's a much more positive way of thinking.  don't allow yourself to be manipulated and never use pregnancy as an excuse for poor parenting decisions.

my brother is 7.my brother and his friends fight all the time. my brother just cant let go, he always has 2 win the fight or he isnt happy. o and thats not that bad. one time he had his friend who is in the same grade as me come over (6th grade). i was on youtube and watching a video. he started 2 say like it was bad wrong (whatever u want 2 say)(o and the video was not what he said it was) in front of this guy who was in the room right next 2 the room. i said that it wasnt what my brother said it was and stormed off b/c i was really embrassed. i go up 2 my room 2 cool off. after a mintue or so i get up and decide 2 play the computer again. i go down stairs and see the guy playing the PS2. so i walk into the office, my brothers on the computer watching p**n!!!! now at least ur sons not doing that!

Send them to play outside. Kids NEED to play outside, those brothers you mentioned particularly sound like they could use a romp and some fresh air; and it keeps your house smelling better.
