  1. I got 86.67%.  I should have done better; I hope my graduate school professors don't see my score.

  2. You answered 58 out of 60 correctly — 96.67 %

Average score for this quiz during October: 70.7%

    Average score since September 18, 2007: 70.7%

This test is not a civil test, but a test of general knowledge. I do not think that it fairly represents the "wisdom" of Americans or the failure of schools.

  3. For a 75 year old man, with a high school education is 70 per cent a good score?

  4. You answered 50 out of 60 correctly — 83.33 %

I was a little surprised to see the average scores of college seniors were at best around 60%

  5. I answered 55 out of 60 correctly. 91.7%  I have a high school diploma.

  6. Thanks, I got and 88.33%, given my education and career, that is way too low, I should have gotten 100%.  A very good wake up call.  i'm going to send this to my Dad (retired drug company exec, retired History teacher, current Med School Professor), if he doesn't get 100% (despite his being 74), I will laugh at him for days. It's a great test!

George, 70% is average (if that is true, it;s a good test and it seems to be junior/senior college level, so without studying or taking a basic course, you probably just got a C in a 3rd year college Final Exam in a U.S. Political Science course), probably a lot of people have studied more Civics and more recently, so with a high school education, you are ahead of the curve. Your age makes no difference, if anything, you probably know more about Civics thatthe average 25 year old.  I have a Masters in Public Policy (and was working on a Ph.D. in U.S. History) , so I should have gotten 100, this is a hard test, so you did great!

Thank you Dude, it was a great find on your part.  It covers Civics/U.S. History very well!

Hey Vast, I would classify this as a mid level undergrad History final.  It should be general knowledge, but it's not.  But good thinking and you must have a good undergrad education.

  7. oh goodness i got 20 out of 60......but hey considering i only knew the answers to 2 of them thats pretty good.   graduated high school 2 yrs ago, no college.
