  1. My son had this issue a couple years ago. This is what I recommend:

First, ensure you're getting enough sleep for yourself. How to find this out, after going to bed, don't let anyone or an alarm clock wake you up. Just see how long you NATURALLY sleep (maybe do this on a Saturday or Friday night when you don't have to get up for anything). That will determine how much sleep your body requires.

Second, ensure you're eating healthy meals.

Third, get in some exercise at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes.

For me, it was found that my iron was too low. Also, try taking 50 mcg of a VITAMIN B complex. Vitamin B is the stress vitamin. It works miracles for my family. They will be all slow and draggy, they take a vitamin B complex and after an hour, they are rejuvenated.

Also, I take a regular vitamin and an iron pill (at the request of my doctor). Of course, you may want to have your iron checked prior to taking any iron supplements, but unless you have a medical issue with vitamin B, try 50mcg Vitamin B complex and see if you feel better in an hour

  2. Probably because you're trying the WRONG things!  You need PROTEIN to gradually elevate your blood sugar, and keep it raised evenly for a longer period of time.   Sugar and energy drinks will spike your blood sugar (giving you a "sugar rush"), but then it will plummet rapidly, leaving you more tired than you were before.......

  3. start sleeping longer and more often by the way energy drinks are horrible for your heart

  4. energy drinks are not good for ya they work for a lil while then you slump.do you take vitamins.B-12  is good for energy.500-1000 mcg a day everyday.

  5. when i drink coffee and energy drinks i get tired too.

    =]

  6. eat protein bars....that helps me stay awake longer.  Listen to some or play video-games.  Or do some hobbies.

  7. yeah, if artificial means arn't keeping you awake, either sleep more, or check with your doctor, you might have legitimate medical conditions or sleeping disorders they can help you with.
