Question:

Tissot T-Touch Baro way too high

Hi,

I've owned a T-Touch probably nearly 5 years now. Still in pristine as new condition as hardly wear it. Normally in original box 99.9% of its life.

The last time I wore it was last year in March when I went to Canada.

Recently got it out the box, all appears to be working okay which is good. As an avid aviator I recently had a double tak when I looked at the meteo (Hpa). It is approx 12-13Hpa too high. The current sea pressure where I live is approx 1013. My watch says 1025! Calibrating the altimeter of course proves nothing.

I've never changed the battery in the time I've owned it and although it is not dying on me, I guess it could be a possibility the battery is weak thus showing a baro misreading?

Baro is changing as the day goes on, and it's moving in the right direction too as we head into low pressure.

Battery maybe?

cheers :)
