Tissue Ripped on upper lip. HELP???! its bleeding!

I'm not sure what its called but theres this small tissue behind the upper lip that connects it to the gum of the upper jaw. Its a small tissue that acts like a bridge or connector. Now mines just ripped and its bleeding. What do i do????

  1. This tissue is called a frenulum and you need to go to the doctor and get stitches if it continues to bleed.


  2. put flour or something like that on it to block it up. It works when im bleeding :D

  3. its the frenum. Must have brushed hard & slipped. Leave it alone, use salt water gargle or antiseptic cream, it will heal.
