Manchester United stalwart Rio Ferdinand has urged his teammates to keep their focus, as there are several games to play before the winner of the Premier League can be determined.
The Red Devils find themselves in pole position to regain their crown, following Manchester City’s emphatic slump.

However the Citizens have been involved in the title race after a very long break indeed and it clearly showed as the in latter stages of the campaign their charge began to wither, culminating with their cross-town rivals overtaking them in the standings.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749’s biggest prize since its inception and the experience they now boast in their ranks has no substitute, as the outrageous talent at the Etihad can unwittingly testify.
A solid defence has been key to United’s late charge and at the heart of the renaissance is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rio-Ferdinand-c31173, who was written off by many pundits as past his prime. But the former West Ham man has let his football do the talking and has answered back in some
style.
Although the Reds are in the clear, Rio has reiterated that there are several matches to played including a trip to their bitter rivals, meaning that celebrations at this point would be premature.
“There is still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the season, when the trophies are handed out. We have to make sure we apply ourselves in the right way for every game. If we do that, put in the performances and get the results we
want, we will hopefully be lifting the trophy at the end of the season.”
“We are in the position we would like to be in at this stage of the season but it is not over, and I don’t think it is a time that says we won the league,” the England International was quoted as saying.
Ferdinand and United next take on QPR at Old Trafford on Sunday.
