My dad bought me a titliest 975j pro titanium driver. It seems like a pretty nice driver. It has a nice comfortable winn grip and a flex graphite shaft. Is it a quality driver????

  1. Other than being several years old and not being a giant 460cc driver...it's a great club.  If you can hit that...these 460cc drivers will feel like "can't miss".

  2. I also use a titlist driver.  Though the club might be a little outdated it is still of very high quality.  The way I see it, if you play well with it don't worry about it.

  3. It stinks, give it to me and I will take care of it.

  4. top of the line actually , its a very well made club

  5. It's a great driver, but you better have a great swing to go with it.  Titleist drivers are made for better golfers.  They are not very forgiving off miss-hits.

  6. Yep, its a quality weapon.  But whether or not it works with your swing is another story..........

  7. It is a quality club, as are all Titleist clubs.  Having said that, it is pretty outdated.  The technology of drivers has far surpassed the 975 series.  I still know alot of people that swear by that driver, but in my opinion it is past it's prime.  Maybe you should try the 905R or something along those lines. Maybe even the AP1 or AP2 drivers from titleist.  At a certain point, when you are serious about getting better, you need the appropriate equipment.
