Titleist golf balls?

Question

are titleist NXTs better or worse than just regular golf balls?

its hard to decide what to buy so I'll go for the better ball

I've never tried the NXT Extremes.  I play the NXT Tour.  Great ball and half the price of Pro V1s.

I fancied a change after playing Pro V1's for about three years. I tried the NTX Extreme, I have found they are better than Pro V's. I am a convert to them, they are longer than Pro V's and there was little if any loss of control around the greens.

the nxt ball is pretty good..its long from the tee and has a little bit of spin round the greens but the nxt ball wont spin as much as a pro v1....i would recomend bridgestone tour r300 or a6 and also another good ball is the new taylormade burner tp red or black tp ldp..........

NXT Tour is better than most for the money.  I tried the NXT extreme and found the opposite of what another answerer said.  Extreme felt hard around the green and with the putter, but I got LESS distance with them.  Probably just a difference in swing speeds or something, but I like the NXT Tour a lot, good distance and good feel around the green.  Spins enough for me to stop it on the green, but not so much to soar OB when I hook or slice it off the tee.

There are two types of NXT - the NXT Extreme at around $26 and the NXT Tour at $30.

For price and performance I like the NXT Extreme. It has great distance and control but is also good around the greens and has good feel.

You might find that these balls are 1 club longer than what you are used to - so adjust accordingly!

For the same price you can get bridgestone e6+ and they are better balls hands down. Not better than Pro v-1 but better than nxt extremes. But like that other guy said, unless you are a pretty good player and a consistent ball striker and you like to work the ball you really won't see that big a difference if any.

I like the NXTs.  And they are cheaper than the Pro V1s

Also, just got a sample pack of Top Flight Gamers.  GOing to try this weekend, but look at them as well (dimple in dimple technology).  They are softer than the D2s, but the D2s are really nice also, and they are cheap.

titleist NXTs because they perform better while playin. regular ones can't be used as well as they can.

Unless you are a really good golfer (probably 12 handicap or more) don't waste too much money on balls

The NXT Tour has been called a 'poor man's ProV1'.  They're not bad balls at all, and have decent workability.
