Titletown usa, did valdosta deserve it?

Alot of people are disagreeing with espn's titletown that was awarded to Valdosta, Ga. Sure, its not New York or Boston or Green Bay. There is not a pro sports team from there. But watch the high school and college program and see whats been accomplished over the years. Did you see how many people were there in support? Alot more than your " big sport citys" Valdosta is deserving of this.

I agree it's called TitleTOWN USA not Titlecity USA. Even if it was city then they could still deserve it. By the way to answer one ESPN ISNT A JOKE

They can keep their "undeserved" title for as long as they want, but truthfully the real sports fans know that it can either be Detroit, Green Bay, San Francisco, Oakland, Dallas, New York or Boston with multiple high school, professional and NCAA sports titles that should have been bestowed with the Titletown USA award, not "middle of nowhere, GA"......  They can rent "fans" from surrounding areas and counties, but it's a load of c**p in not picking a metropolitan area with more to offer in terms of championship teams.
