The Catalan coach won his sixth consecutive game in the Spanish La Liga, guiding his team to the top of the table; however, he has stated that he does not want to get carried away.
Barcelona have won all the games in the Spanish La Liga, but their coach, Tito Vilanova, has stated that he does not want to get carried away with the results which they have managed to achieve.
The Catalan coach was able to impress in his very first game against Real Sociedad as Barcelona won the match 5-1 and it also saw http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629 score a goal on his comeback.
Even though Barcelona were winning all the fixtures in the league, they were unable to impress during the Supercopa de Espana.
Even though the Catalan giants were favourites to win the Cup tie against Real Madrid, they were unable to do so.
In the first leg, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 won the match 3-2 at the Nou Camp. However, they lost 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu and had to surrender the title to Jose Mourinho’s men on the away-goal rule.
Since Barcelona have been untouchable in the Spanish La Liga, they did lose the game against Real Madrid during the Supercopa de Espana, which does not allow Tito Vilanova to get carried away.
La Blaugrana have not lost a single game and the Catalan coach has clearly stated that it is only the start to the season and he expects to win the league by not getting carried away.
While speaking about the league and the points which his team has managed to accumulate, the Catalan boss said:
“There is still a long way to go and many things will happen from now until the end of the season.
“We have still to visit a lot of grounds and play against other good teams, but it is the same for Real Madrid.”
Barcelona are currently eleven points above their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, who they will be facing next week after playing in the UEFA Champions League during the midweek.
El Clasico has a lot of expectations attached to it but even a loss wouldn’t mean anything to the Catalan giants as they are currently leading the Spanish La Liga points table.
