Yegor Titov believes it will only be a matter of time when Zenit St. Petersburg starts winning matches in the UEFA Champions League and Russian Premier League
Former Spartak Moscow midfielder, Yegor Titov, has lamented Zenit St. Petersburg’s 3-2 defeat in the second group stage match of the Champions League against AC Milan at Petrovsky stadium.
The St. Petersburg club suffered their first home defeat against the Milan-based club since their 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid back in 2008.

Abbiati made some exceptional saves during the much anticipated European fixture, despite being heavily tested by Zenit’s attacker during the second-half of the match.
"The Italian is in scintillating form at the moment and made a couple of decent saves. I think they took full advantage of our slow start to the game after they scored two goals inside twenty minutes.”

Titov went on to blame http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Kerzhakov-c4569 for not showing his master-class during the match, saying that the former Dynamo Moscow striker get lost on the pitch and contributed very little offensively.
Kerzhakov looked tired and helpless on the grass. Maybe he is accustomed to the artificial turf now. He could have impressed the fans after scoring the winning goal for his side.” He concluded.
However, the former FC Khimki player showered praise on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Axel-Witsel-c7029, saying that the new signings are making good progress at the moment.
Both the aforementioned players remained on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes. However, it was the Brazilian striker who steals the headlines after scoring the opening goal of the match.
Titov insisted that he is still hoping that the Russian outfit can progress to the later round of the European tournament despite their poor start to the campaign this term.
