Tivo Desktop-Transferring Media from Tivo to PC and I cant watch it.?

I have a networked Tivo Series 2 and just installed TiVo Dewsktop. I was able to log into the Tivo and I transferred a recorded show from the TiVo to my pc, however, when I click play, windows media player opens up and nothing happens. It just has a black screen and the video will not play. Any suggestions?

Oooh - I know this one.  It's on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't remember...  I used to use the desktop Tivo program and when I first used it had the exact same problem.  It turned out it was ridiculously simple, one of those "Duh" moments... like I was viewing in the wrong section (or trying to).  I know you might feel like you've tried everything, but take it from someone who was in the same boat as you -- it may just be something dumb like that.  Take a fresh look at what you're seeing.  Save yourself the stupid call the Tivo.
