1. Canada 76 – China 49
Canadian point guard Nirra Fields led all scorers with 22 points and nine rebounds in the game. Field stayed on the court for nearly 23 minutes; hit 40.9 percent of her field goals including 25.0 percent from the three-point range.
Diana Lee racked up13 points and grasped three rebounds for the Canadians.
For team China, Jiamie Liang made 12 points, five rebounds and one assist while Liwei Yang added 11 points and dished out four assists.
2. USA 85 – Japan 63
Bria Hartley led USA with 18 points and four assists and three rebounds. During her 25 minutes stay on the court, Hartley hit seven of 12 shots from the field including three of four from beyond the arc. Breanna Stewart and Stefanie
Dolson were the other lead scorers for USA with 13 points each.
Sanae Motokawa of Japan led all scorers with a game-high 20 points and six rebounds. Motokawa shot 100 percent from the stripe and finished with 80 percent shooting from the three-point range. Chikae Uchino also tallied 15 points
for Japanese squad.      
3. Russia 70 – Argentina 51
Russia’s Yulia Poluyanova remained the top scorer of the game with 21 points. Besides her scoring contribution, she also grabbed five rebounds, two assists and two steals. In 28 minutes, she shot 87.5 percent from the field and
100 percent from the paint. Ksenia Tikhonenko made a double-double with 18 points and clutched 10 rebounds.
From Argentina, Melisa Gretter led with 17 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals while Rocio Diaz added 13 points along with two steals and one rebound.
4. Chinese Taipei 83 – Slovenia 73
Yu-Ting Lin spearheaded Chinese Taipei with 17 points. She converted seven of 11shots from the field while Chi-Fang Chang came up with 11 points and five rebounds.
For Slovenia, Tjasa Gortnar led with a game-high 23 points. She also clutched 14 rebounds, going six of 10 from the field and 11 of 12 from the charity stripe in nearly 35 minutes. Besides Gortnar, Nika Baric scored 12 points,
six rebounds and three assists for Slovenia.
5. France 59 – Chile 36
Valeriane Ayayi led France with 15 points, five rebounds and one assist. She remained on hard wood for 20 minutes and shot seven of 10 from the field. Helena Akmouche supported Ayayi with 13 points, two rebounds and one assist.
Barbara Cousino topped all Chile scorers with 13-point on a five of eight shooting from the field including three of five from the long range.
6. Italy 74 – Egypt 56
Italy overcame Egypt with the help of Francesca Dotto, who scored 15 points, clutched two rebounds and dished out two assists on the night. She spent 23 minutes on court, during which she also made three steals. Marta Masoni punctuated
12 points while Irene Cigliani racked up 11 points for the Italians. For team Egypt, Haga Amer scored game-high 22 points along with 11 rebounds.
7. Brazil 71 – Spain 64
Damiris Dantas marshalled Brazil with a game-winning double-double. She bagged 19 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and catered for two assists. Carina Martins also pounded 14 points for Brazil. Martins also had five rebounds, three
assists and two steals.
Queralt Casas led Spain with 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
