they are weeks about from each other. im goin to lasik plus this next saturday.

my question where is the best place to get custom lasik or bladeless lasik done? and which one is better?

i been lookin all over the net and this 2 companies seem like the way to go. but i need to do as much research as possible i mean its a big deal you know. please share any info u have.

Since you'll have appointments with both of them so at the end of the day you should know which one that you feel comfortable with.

Take all factors into account then go with the one that you are most comfortable. Different people have different experience even at the same place with the same surgeon.

With $4400 financially you are well prepared because normally it would cost around $2000 for one eye.

The optometrist I work for recommends people to TLC, but we're in Orange County. They do a good job.  You'll want to have an optometrist that will do your pre- and post-op treatments. Just make sure you get your eyes well evaluated and are made aware of the risks. Lasik isn't for everyone - it depends on the structure of your cornea and how it will hold up during surgery.

I've seen a lot of happy lasik patients, but there are risks, and mistakes are made. I saw a patient this last week who had had lasik, then another surgery to attempt to correct the mistakes made, and she still only sees 20/400 out of one eye, and now is wearing a hard contact lens to try to correct the shape of her cornea.  That's just one patient out of hundreds, but just be aware.
