Tmobile UPGRADE policy???

Question

What is the Tmobile Upgrade policy? I have the sidekick, LX version. But I am considering getting a new phone, since my phone is slowly falling apart lol. So, I was trying to find information about the upgrade policy, do i have to pay the full price of the Tmobile WING(the phone im eyeing :P)? Is there a fee, i have to pay? Im so confused, HELP PLS!

Best answer is to call them up and ask.  :)

I'm with T-Mobile and I upgraded a year or so ago.  They gave me two options:  Pay the full price of the new phone (boo!), OR, pay a discount rate with an extension of my contract.  (Same prices as for a brand new customer, so you can get the "discount" pricing from TM's website.)  (No activation fee, since you're already a customer.)

So you should be able to get the discount rate as long as you're willing to extend your contract.  They "suggested" a two year extension, I talked them down to 1 year.  I think the discount was a bit less for a 1 year contract than for 2, but I don't remember how much the difference was.
