Tmobile razr charger problems?

Question

my charger is pretty new, but this has happened before. if i plug it into my phone and in the wall, it won't charge unless i put it at a certain weird position. with my last charger, this happened and then it wouldn't charge at any position. it isn't charging at any now.. what should i do?

[don't tell me to buy a new one, it's like 2:17 am]

If you can get the charger into that odd position, I'd suggest keeping it there with some tape or something similar.  Other than that... well... as you say, it's early in the morning.  

If your phone is comparatively new (or if you have insurance on it), then call T-Mobile and get them to replace it.  If it's not new, then repairing it is probably going to cost more than it's worth; I'd suggest calling T-Mobile to find out what kind of new phone you can get for a reasonable price.  They're at 1-800-937-8997.

MOTOROLLA SUCKS! i can't believe i just bought another one.. but wow anything but motorolla... you sohuld cal t-mobile in the morning and ask them about it.. they'll probably send you another one or something if you just got it

check to see if anything is bent or if there is dirt or something in it.

You need to call Motorola or T-Mobile, more likely t-mobile if you have insurance and tell them about it.  they should be able to fix it then, just dial 611

Look at the cable and see if there are any kinks or bends in it. Flatten them out or twist back to straight if there are. Try turning the charger upside down in the wall socket if possible (changing the angle of the cable). Also try gently pulling on and/or pushing back in where the cable goes into the wall outlet plug. It sounds like your problem is at that end of the cable from your description- not the USB end that goes in the phone - although you should check that too. If the charger is the kind with the folding prongs, make sure they are straight when you plug into the wall. Good luck!
