To AFLAC or not to AFLAC?

Trying to take negative posts w/a grain of salt. Going for 2nd interview today w/AFLAC. Looking for part time work 20-25 hrs/week. Is this realistic? If you work for AFLAC and like it, please contact me. Not looking to get rich, but bring home $1,600/month. Thanks!

Insurance is a very tough business. If you are new to the business $1,600 per month for a new agent is going to be very tough to make. Aflac like other insurance companies will hire just about anybody in hopes that they will get some sales. For the insurance companies its about volume the more they hire the better chance they have of finding somone that will actually survive in the business.

Unless you are a prodigy, working  20-25 hours per week you will be hard pressed to be in business after two months.
