I was just wondering how big he is there in the US. Is he really famous there? He has this new commercial with other athletes endorsed by Nike. Athletes like Kobe Bryant. I was wondering if he really is that famous already even to the rest of the world. Oh yah, Hes known as the Mexican Killer. So he is quite famous here and in Mexico. But in here he is loved by many but in Mexico hes like the most wanted criminal. How do you feel about him? Who do Americans usually cheer for? His Mexican opponents or him? Or do you even bother?

The Average American on the street ost likely is not aware of Manny Pacquiao, or at most they just know the name and that he is a boxer.  If they have the slightest interest in boxing though they know who he is though.  Among boxing fans he is one of the 2-3 biggest sars over here.  He isnt  the movie star type personality over here that he is in the Phillipines, but that is more due to the fact that boxing doesnt have that great of stature here compared to sports like baseball, football, and basketball......  If Manny Pacquiao fought in the USA from the 1900s to the 1950s (when boxing was one of the top sports) he would have been extremely popular.

Manny is big over here also....he has classic fights Morrales, Barrea, Marquez and since signing with Golden Boy Productions he will make a good amount of money which he deserves..he always gives you his best win lose or draw....he's a fighters fighter...as for the mexican killer i remember 2 other fighters with that title Roger Mayweather (Floyd's uncle) and terrible Terry Norris the reason is he like them were beating and Ko'ing a lot of top Mexican fighters..Mexicans are proud fighters but a lil dellusional in thinking.........and as an official American i cheer for Manny who ever he fights because that's my DUDE!!!! and he just p4p one of the best today

Yes, he is very popular here in America.  My son-in-law hosts a gathering of boxing fans at his home every time Manny fights.  The crowd is a nice mix of Mexicans and Filipinos.

But the favorite is always Manny Pacquiao, even for the Mexicans.

I'm Filipino.  My son-in-law is Mexican.

I'm not phillipino, but i am asian... and i know that all the asian knows him... and we all cheer for him... the greatest fighter i have ever seen, and he always puts up a show... when he gets hit, he just wants to get revenge... great fighter that is worth the money and hype..
