About 5 years ago we went to London on vacation. We searched all over for souvenirs of Princess Diana and all we could find was a 6 in round plate with her picture on it. Course we bought it. However I wanted a porcelain doll and picture of her. There was nothing else of her for sale. My husband is now in Manchester and searching the shops for something with her on it and NOTHING not even the little plate we bought 5 years ago. WHY? She was loved by all and we would love to keep her alive although she is not of this world.

If you know of somewhere in Manchester that sells anything of her let me know so when my husband calls me he can go get it. Thank You all for any answers you might give me.

  1. Because we dont like the Royal Family.

  2. I've got a piece of a mercedes in my shed...

  3. well, it was quite a long time ago, and it's a pretty niche thing to sell, as i doubt there's a very large market for them anymore. i think your best bet might be ebay or something.

  4. her time is over,

  5. She was a cheater who betrayed the Family. OK, they both cheated, but that doesn't make it excusable.

Then she did some charity work and the tabloids latched onto an oppurtunity to make some money by idolizing her. Had she not died they probably would've begun a slander campaign eventually.

  6. If you have a look on ebay there are loads of Princess Diana things for sale.  Franklin Mint do several different Princess Diana dolls, they turn up on ebay all the time, and you can probably still buy them direct from Franklin Mint.  There is also a royal wedding Diana doll in the Peggy Nisbet range, and they also do a family group with Charles, Diana, and baby Prince William, which turns up quite often.

  7. well_sht,

Did you notice what "a c" said? They dont like the "Royal Family??!!!" How sad is this!! I never considered Lady "Diana" any part of them whatsoever!! She was a woman all her own.. Oh this is just so sad, I just loved her myself!!! And she was a brave soul she was!! She did things so differently then any of the "Royal's" did. She took her kids to the ocean swimming in the summers. And took them to regular old "McDonald's" for hamburgers, and wanted them to know what it was like to live a somewhat "Normal" life, too! Not just to be considered Royalty, you know. My gosh that woman held those kids who were living in Land Mine towns and made this one of her own charities, and cried over those people!! I saw photos of her crying as she was holding one child who looked so deprived and poor, and she was so well dressed with such a heart broken look on her face. How dare them compare her to the "Royal Family!!" She was nothing like them stuffy people!!! She had heart and she ran with it, to her death!!!

  8. They know she was all hype, no real substance, with a desire to show her spoiled life. She takes on a cause that is the same as trying to stop ocean waves, to rid the battlefields of land mines, sure it can be done, but only on completion when warfare itself stops. In defense of her, I'll say she got hitched to another spoiled brat, and had not lived long enough for wisdom to take hold.

  9. Most of the people that 'loved Diana' were superficial morons who threw themselves about crying at her funeral and forgot who she was 2 days later. Most normal people weren't that bothered. Sure it was sad that she died. But no sadder than anyone else who died because they didn't wear a seatbelt.

Don't believe all the hype in the media. Most people have moved on and are far more concerned with who is going to win "Britain's got talent' than with Diana.
