To Anyone who is going or has recently graduated from a LAUSD highschool.?

Well, i'm a junior at a LAUSD highschool and i want to take a college class after school. Does a college class count as a whole year in Highschool? For example art. If i take art does this one semester class count as a whole year in highschool?
