  1. *guilty*

  2. I'll not deny it.   The "!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" draws the attention, too.

  3. Every time without fail.

  4. I actually came here to criticize your excessive punctuation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  5. I don't know why I did.

    I honestly don't.

Because normally, questions with a lot of punctuation are useless questions asked by dumb people. Generally speaking.

Now this little test of yours I found rather amusing.

  6. was smart one your question is referring to atheist so maybe us atheist maybe want to help someone in need

  7. i was just going to ask that.

  8. I did.

  9. it usually means something entertaining or worth taking apart when it begins with lots of punctuations.

  10. "How many people came here just because I put "To Atheists?"

The fact that it was spelled correctly piqued my interest.

  11. d**n... you got me.

  12. *Raises Hands*

    You got me.

  13. I did. I keep hoping I will find one (an Atheist) with an open mind. It works once in a while, but not often enough. There is a way to world peace, but if I can't get you to look at the road map and see we CAN get there from here you won't help me get us there. That is why I also answer questions aimed at Christians, Jews, Muslims and any other religion you can mention. No matter what you call yourself, Rastafarian or Pastafarian, Atheist or Christian, you just might be what I am and do not know it.

Some people claim faith is blind, but my faith is a carefully considered, carefully reasoned and very reasonable, rational and defensible faith. Were atheist Stephen Roberts (1901-1971) standing in front of me this moment, I would say to him, “I contend that we are both men of faith. I just have faith in one more thing than you do, and for very good reason. When you fully understand why I also dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I believe in mine, and you will believe also."

    ====================

The Jews await the Messiah, the Christians the return of Christ, the Moslems the Mahdi, the Buddhists the fifth Buddha, the Zoroastrians Shah Bahram, the Hindus the reincarnation of Krishna, and the Atheists - a better social organization! Baha'u'llah represents all these, and thus destroys the rivalries and the enmities of the different religions; reconciles them in their primitive purity, and frees them from the corruption of dogmas and rites.

    (Abdu'l-Baha, Tablets of Abdu'l-Baha v1, p. vii)

    Living the Life

When asked on one occasion: "What is a Bahá'í?" 'Abdu'l-Bahá replied: "To be a Bahá'í simply means to love all the world; to love humanity and try to serve it; to work for universal peace and universal brotherhood." On another occasion He defined a Bahá'í as "one endowed with all the perfections of man in activity." In one of His London talks He said that a man may be a Bahá'í even if He has never heard the name of Bahá'u'lláh. He added:  --

The man who lives the life according to the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh is already a Bahá'í. On the other hand, a man may call himself a Bahá'í for fifty years, and if he does not live the life he is not a Bahá'í. An ugly man may call himself handsome, but he deceives no one, and a black man may call himself white, yet he deceives no one, not even himself.

One who does not know God's Messengers, however, is like a plant growing in the shade. Although it knows not the sun, it is, nevertheless, absolutely dependent on it. The great Prophets are spirits suns, and Bahá'u'lláh is the sun of this "day" in which we live. The suns of former days have warmed and vivified the world, and had those suns not shone, the earth would now be cold and dead, but it is the sunshine of today that alone can ripen the fruits which the suns of former days have kissed into life.

    Devotion to God

In order to attain to the Bahá'í life in all its fullness, conscious and direct relations with Bahá'u'lláh are as necessary as is sunshine for the unfolding of the lily or the rose. The Bahá'í worships not the human personality of Bahá'u'lláh, but the Glory of God manifest through that personality. He reverences Christ and Muhammad and all God's former Messengers to mankind, but he recognizes Bahá'u'lláh as the bearer of God's Message for the new age in which we live, as the Great World teacher Who has come to carry on and consummate the work of His predecessors.
