To Austrailian folks: what do you like best about your country?

i live in canada and australia is at the top of my list of places to visit :) just want to read some of the pride you guys want to share ;)

I am proud to live here - never would want to move.

I love the multiculturalism, tolerance, weather, beaches, food, opportunities and the SUN!

the fact that generally we're pretty casual and extremely irreverant :D

don't take ourselves or others TOO serriously :D

Isolated from other stuff although it is getting to be a very small world and bad stuff has already started to spill in, terrorism, pollution, crime, over populating small areas, foriegn workers taking jobs for less pay, just think soon enough Australia will be a third world scum hole too thanks to it's tolerance and willingness to help others. It's a pitty it will be too late before anybody will do anything, people being so afraid to be politically incorrect and all.  Come see it's beauty before it evolves to Chinafganisca.

friendly people ( with a few exceptions)

laid back

beautiful country

nice beaches and beautiful summers

a country that I'm proud to call home you can go to a pub have a drink with your mates and know your gunna be looked after

i hope you get here and experience this gorgeous place that alot of people take for granted

I love how everything is laid back. I love the lifestyle. I love the footy rivalry. I love the big cities. I love the transportation. I love the beaches. I love how we all love our country. I've been in the U.S. for five years now [parental issues] and I'm LONGING to go back.

I agree with Dan he pretty much summed up what i love!

except i dont enjoy the hot weather. i much prefer cold - and snow!

ive only seen snow once - when we went to mt. buller and there was hardly any!!

I really want to go to Canada!

I like so many things but what I like the most is the people we don't take things to seriously and can have a laugh at each other and with each other.

I love the fact that on Anzac Day we come together as a nation to remember and honour our fallen soldiers with genuine pride and on Australia Day we come together again to enjoy the wonderful country they helped mould. .

I like the wide open spaces in our country. I love our laid-back lifestyle and our cosmopolitan perspective.

I love the relative security we have here and the freedoms.
