To Cal States, is gpa more important or the sat?

They are both important! Your SAT is used to qualify you for entering the Cal State system, however with a good GPA - this could bump you into the school ahead of others with a lower GPA. Good Luck.

I've heard that if you have higher than a 3.0 GPA, then they don't look at your SAT scores. But you might want to check the CSU website to make sure.
