  1. check your yellow pages if not seach it online in your local area...

  2. Call your local Health Dept.

  3. You need to contact the County Health Inspector.  http://www.foodinspectionweb.vcha.ca/

  4. I am curious; had they responded a little more apologetically, would you still want to call the health inspector?

Bugs sometimes come in the door with guests, or in through the back door... very much like they do at your house. And we have all had a bug or two in our houses before. Was the rest of the restaurant.... um.... gross? Questionable? Did anyone get sick?

I'm not sure the inspectors would react to a claim of one bug. It happens. Obviously the server should have been more sympathetic... lord knows I would have bent over backward to make sure you did not leave my restaurant considering calling the health department! Maybe a call to the manager would be more productive?
