To Hillary voters: Do you like Sarah Palin as an alternative to Obama?

It seems as if Sarah if highly intelligent and sophisticated after I heard her speech. Does this give you a good alternative as a women's voice in politics now?

Absolutely. I think she's an excellent role model and a great representative for women. I was always loyal to Hillary, but I think Palin has even more to offer.

No. It's good for palin's personal life she can tell her kids "mommy was John McCain's vp pick". How is she going to be vp or president if Mc-needs-a-cane goes,which will probably be soon, with 5 kids. That's ghetto.

She is governor of a state that has a population less than that of Los Angeles and everyone is calling that "experience"? no way in h**l was i going to vote for McCain  and now with Palin as vp there is even less chance Hillary supporter will vote McCain. She super religious, against abortion, against same s*x marriage, wants to drill for oil in Alaska and i feel she has less experience then Obama

I think she is a decent pick and she wont change the pro choice decision so it really wont matter how she feels.  I do have  a problem with her wanting to drill in alaska protected lands  . We need to protect the environment so if she changes her stance on this , ill vote mccain as long as he keeps his word about drilling in alaska. Obama is great too but i just dont think america is ready for a black president , my opinion .

I really don't get this. I dont get how people can just do a 360 and forget about their beliefs and values that they hold so dear and vote for someone simply because of their gender....

Was the reason you supported Hillary simply that she is a woman? I don't think so. You had faith in her and shared her beliefs and you knew she was on your side. Why would you go against that?   I mean seriously! Even Hillary thinks that McCain and Palin would take the US in the wrong direction.
