  1. I've lived in Kansas for a couple of years and boy, was it boring. [My dad was in the military]

But no, Kansas is not only farms. There are actually quite a few cities there, but I've only been to Topeka and Kansas City. I heard Wichita was pretty cool though.

  2. There are cities, and suburbs, and museums and businesses.  Like any place esle.....just more wheat and corn than a lot of other places.

  3. As long as you live in the northeast corner of kansas it is just like living in the suburbs of any other state. Its actually a nice place to live and there is plenty of stuff to do.

As for the rest of the state it really does feel like only farms...

  4. No KS is not only farms and we have cars not just horses and carriages.  The roads are not all yellow bricks either.  Its like Iowa or Missouri or Oklahoma, etc.  There is a lot of farm land the more west you go, but there are still towns of pretty decent size spread out.

  5. It definitely seems like it sometimes.  However, there are some old forts and cowtowns in the state that are fun to go to.  There's even a Civil War Battlefield in the southeast corner of the state.

  6. Yes there is no activity mainly small towns exept near Kansas City, and Witchita, but it is a really nice state I LOVE KC!

  7. flat as far as the eye can see...lawrence is a party town though...
