To Laker fans who still obsess over Paul Pierce...?

It's months later yet you're still busy making up excuses. Do you honestly believe that Paul Pierce thought, "I'm going to go hurt myself so my team goes on an incredible run, and THEN to get everyone EVEN MORE pumped up, I'm going to come out of the locker room."

Do you seriously think he was acting?

And I apologize to laker fans who aren't like this.

I haven't heard this. Are you talking about his "I'm the best" statement or The Truth winning his 1st ring? Pierce is a local boy made good. Can't imagine anyone really resenting that. Don't confuse Laker fan's disappointment over the way the season ended (perfectly understandable) with obsession. As someone who's lived here all my life, there's far too much to do in LA to get caught up in one player who got the best of the home team.

-Making an excuse about "Faking an injury" is the lamest excuse for losing, if anything it helped the Laker's, cause he didn't play as many minutes.

-And if it's an insult, it doesn't make since because, he came back in the game on fire, draining 3 after 3.

-I don't believe he faked the injury, but last time I checked it wasn't cheating, or anything wrong with it if he did, and it certaintly had nothing to do with the other 3 times the C's beat the Lakers.

The thing is as a player i know he would not want to injure himself , what player would want to do that, but what got me mad was that he acted like he got shot and was going to die there at the scene, simple the Celticcs won and the Lakers dint i move on and hope better this year

Haha. I got over Paul Pierce and the Celtics a long time ago, probably a day after game6...haha, good message to other ridiculous ppl who talk c**p about Pierce, but yea, I think he was overreacting a bit. Although I am obsessing over the upcoming season.
