Question:

To McCain/Palin supporters: Is McCain's judgment for picking Palin as VP in question?

Downplaying the angle of possible less than stellar parenting by Palin, isn't it a really bad choice for a mother to knowingly put an underage, unmarried pregnant daughter under the stressful spotlight of a VP national campaign, particularly one who touts her conservative credentials? Does it not seem like she is focusing on her own career advancement to the detriment of the family she has been raising? And hasn't McCain, by choosing her, either ignored his VP pick's families needs, or downplayed them to a degree that makes him look bad? I am curious to see where McCain supporters fall on this. And would they feel the same way if this was 10+ years ago, and Chelsea Clinton was in Sarah Palin's daughter's shoes?

  1. Yes for the liberals it is.

  2. I don't really get your question, but I think Palin is a great choice. She is a reformer and a washigton outsider, just what this country needs more of. Whether she should put her family though this is entirely Palin's choice. I know I wouldn't, but that's just me.

  3. No, but it clearly is for wacky far-left wingnuts.

The pleasure it gives us to see them hyperventilating over nothing when they're totally unable to see that The Boy is also nothing cannot be described in words! :-))

As for Mark and his referral to The Guardian: That rag is injurious to the mental health of its wacky far-left wingnut readership. Nuff sed.

  4. it is just fine with his supporters but then we get to people like you who we really do not care what you or anyone else thinks about it so your fishing trip has produced a zero much like you political knowledge

  5. We love Sarah Palin and she will be what puts McCain over the top.

  6. Isn't Obama advancing his career and forsaking his family.  What kind of Dad is he.  Why is it ok for a man to have a career and family. Get back in your cave,

  7. The moment I heard about Palin, I said "Ihope she has thick skin, because the left wing is going the either crucify her for something real or imagined".  I was right.  This is about running the country, folks.  It's not about parenting, pregnancy, choices by children, or anything personal.  Look at Ted Kennedy - causing the death of another human being.  That was one of the biggest cover ups in the history of this country!  Get off these personal attacks that have nothing to do w hatsoever with whether or not a person is capable of running an office!

  8. YES IT IS. IT SHOWS THAT HE MAKES RASH, UN-RESEARCHED DECISIONS. SOUNDS LIKE OUR CURRENT s***w UP OF A PRES.

  9. no mccains judgement is not in question.  Accepting the nomination was something for the Palin family to decide.  I have not read anything about their decision process, but it was already known that her daughter was pregnant before she accepted the VP position so the cat was out of the bag so to speak.

Yes i would feel the same way about the clintons.
