But one question for you, how do you pray, like what do you do in your salat?

  1. First of all, hadiths don't explain how to pray in sufficient detail either.

Secondly, hadiths are contradictory. That's why Maliki's, Shia's and Ibadiyya's pray with hands straight down, while others pray with hands folded. They call each other praying in 'false' way.

Thirdly, I won't do a copy and paste because it's too long. There's a salat & zakat section on Free Minds forum, which answers your question: http://free-minds.org/forum/index.php?PH...

I'll close with this point: for each problem the qurani faces from his/her source of quran, the hadith'ite faces more problems in the hadiths. For each 'problem' of following quran, I can point out more than two problems from following hadiths. By such logic, the qurani wins.

EDIT: D@!s- You beleive hadiths come from GOD??? You just said quran & hadith have the same source. Astaghfirullah. Quran was written immediately, hadiths are written nearly three centuries after the prophet's death. Explain that one...

  2. I think sometimes people get caught up in having the RIGHT answer.  Sometimes, perhaps, there is not RIGHT answer.

If there are contradictions in Qur'an and hadith, as sword-guy says, then I think God (swt) will forgive if you are doing it wrong, as your intention is good, and you are attempting to follow the only way you can figure out.

Sunflower: I take issue with your interpretation of those Qur'anic verses.  Let me put it this way; we might say that we make no distinction between the previous presidents and the current one, but people must still pledge allegiance and LISTEN to to current one before all others.  So, at the time, it was quite proper to have Muhammad's (pbuh) name in the adhan, and it continued on as a tradition, not improperly.

  3. Dear,

    Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahhi Wabarakatuh.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

None in the Al-Qur'an about the way to Pray. The way of praying are taught and physically shown by the Prophet to all the followers.

During Israk Majrat where the order for Prayer to Prophet Muahammad met and Prays together with Prophet Moses at the 7th layer of the Sky before to Saidatul Mumtahar. Prophet Moses are the main adviser to Prophet Muhammad saw.

Muhammad went to see Al-Mighty God Allah and stand before Al-Mighty God Allah recieved the Order for Praying. At the begining, the Order for praying were 50 times daily. Prophet Moses advise Prophet Muhammad by saying to Prophet Muhammad that his Followers (Moses Followers)   can't do it althought having bigger size than Prophet Muhammad's followers. Moses asked (advised) Prophet Muhammad to go back to Al-Mighty God Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala asking to reduce the number of time from 50 to 45, 45 to 40. 40 to 35 and so on to and back asking for about 10 times for reduce of Prayers to five time prayers daily. That's too, still pursuade by Prophet Moses to Prophet Muhammad to continue asking to reduce to 3 times of daily prayers as worship to Al-Mighty God Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

Prophet Muhammad felt too ashamed to go to Al-Mighty God Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

That's why the prayers are 5 times daily now.

The different between all other religions and the religion of Islam is Praying. All Muslim Pray 5 times to Allah. Pray means worship Allah the creator and governor of the universe. Created Jinns and mankind to worship HIM and made mankind as agent on earth.

To answer your Questions, the way of praying in Islam was personally taught by and done by Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu'alaihi Wassalam to all the followers and asking all the followers to follow the way how to pray physically. That's done until today. What we are doing now are exactly done and by the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu'alihi Wassalam and his followers Praying physically for the last at about 1400 years ago (year of Hijjrah). Prophet Muhammad Sallallahhu'alaihi Wassalam says the five time Prayers are like the water of the river keep changing five times daily. That the benificial of the daily prayers.

    Wabillahhitaufiq Wahidayah Wassalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahhi Wabarakatuh.

  4. Here you go the five prayers in the QURAN

    Surah 20, Verse 130:

Pickthall: Therefor (O Muhammad), bear with what they say, and celebrate the praise of thy Lord ere the rising of the sun (1) and ere the going down thereof(2). And glorify Him some hours of the night(3) and at the two ends of the day(4&5), that thou mayst find acceptance.

    Can you count.

Your statement is wrong and submitters are hypocrites.

Asker: Sorry just wanted to prove a point to Sunnis who believe the Quran only states 3 prayers. :)

    Asker: I have.

  5. I agree with MASSI!

And Allah says in the Quran "Obey Allah, and obey His Messenger (P.B.U.H)." How do they obey the Messenger (P.B.U.H)?

  6. wow , are those people muslims ?!

how do they pray , how do they break their fast , how do they do hajj ?

  7. As you can see the desperation from the people who only believe in Quran,

    my Question to them:-

Hadn't the Quran been reached to us from the same sources we received our authentic hadith?

  8. get this straight  abul harith

Those who do not acknowledge the hereafter with certainty will not understand the Quran, and they will claim that the Quran is difficult or even impossible to understand on its own. See 54:17,22,32,and 40. Traditional translations and commentaries somehow separate the word “Quran” from the adjective (wahdahu = alone, only) that follows it. They translate it as "Lord alone in the Quran." Though there are many verses emphasizing God's oneness (see 39:45), this verse could be understood as another one emphasizing that message. However, this could be only a secondary meaning of this particular verse, since the adjective wahdehu is used not after the word Rab (Lord) but after the word Quran. In Arabic if one wants to say ‘Quran alone,’ the only way of saying it is "Quranun wahdahu." The mathematical structure of the Quran too confirms our translation. For instance, the word wahdahu is used for God in 7:70; 39:45; 40:12,84 and 60:4.

now a bit of your understanding, you seem to be very proficient in arabic, but isnt it a pitty and utter shame that you dont understand a word/message of Glorious Quran.your name suggests that you are arab.and there is profound Verse 9:97,9:101,which explains your kind.

this verse Alhamdolillahe explicitly says MOST ARABS are WORST in DISBELIEF and HYPOCRICY.

the word ARAAB means PLURAL of ARAB.

like one mexican a bunch mexicans, like one american a bunch americans, like one iraqi and bunch iraqis,

the word MOST means PLURAL   more than one so therefore it would not be MOST ARAB,it would be MOST ARABS

since ARAAB is NOT,bedouins, and not singular ..get it !!

it is extremely useless for you to know arabic language,go smash your head with shaykh ul iblis taimiya.

Alhamdolillahe Rabil Aalaimeen,i am so very grateful to Allah Allmighty and so very thankful to Allah Allmighty Alone, that i am what i am and who i am,and i am so very Thankful to Allah Allmighty that i am NOT Arab.who knows arabic but can NOT understand THE MESSAGE in Glorious Quran.i i were arab i would most certainly among the Arabs explained in 9:97 and 9:101,worst in Hypocrisy and Disbelief.

[17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone, they run away in aversion.

    the worst losers

The consequence of our hesitance to the point of failing to take a firm, righteous stand is what the Quran characterizes as CONDEMNED APATHY

         The Worst Losers

[57:13]  On that day, the hypocrite men and women will say to those who believed, "Please allow us to absorb some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you, and seek light." A barrier will be set up between them, whose gate separates mercy on the inner side, from retribution on the outer side.

[57:14]  They will call upon them, "Were we not with you?"  They will answer, "Yes, but you cheated your souls, hesitated, doubted, and became misled by wishful thinking, until GOD's judgment came. You were diverted from GOD by illusions.

[57:15]  "Therefore, today no ransom can be taken from you, nor from those who disbelieved. Your abode is the fire; it is your lord, and miserable abode."

    Examine Yourself

[18:103] Say, "Shall I tell you who the worst losers are?

[18:104] "They are the ones whose works in this life are totally astray, but they think that they are doing good."

  9. Azaan is not part of the Contact Prayers, nor is it required. But it has become a tradition in the Muslim communities to summon the people to prayer through a loud announcement. The original Azaan used to conform with the Quran's teachings, but became corrupted with time.

Originally, the call to prayer consisted of:

    (1) Allahu Akbar (God is Great), 4 times.

    (2) Laa elaaha Ellaa Allah (There is no god beside God), once.

Many years later, some people added Muhammad's name to the Azaan. This violates God's commandments in 2:136, 2:285, 3:84, 4:150 and 72:18. Later, other groups of Muslims added the names of Ali and family. Today the Azaan is severely corrupted throughout the Muslim world, and constitutes idol worship, not Submission to God ALONE.

    The Correct Azaan

If you pray by yourself, an Azaan is not needed. The Azaan is usually observed when a group of people are ready to observe the prayer. One person stands up and utters the Azaan words, or chants them as follows:

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar (God is great, God is great).

    Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Laa Elaaha Ella Allah (There is no god besides God).

Preparation for the Contact Prayer (The Ablution)

O you who believe, in preparation for the Contact Prayer, you shall

    (1) wash your faces,

    (2) wash your arms to the elbows,

    (3) wipe your heads with wet hands, and

    (4) wash your feet to the ankles. [Quran 5:6]

Like all other aspects of Submission, the Muslims have corrupted the ablution by adding unauthorized steps. Ironically, the innovations became vested with such authority that anyone who questions them finds himself accused of innovation!!

It is therefore crucial to uphold God's commands by strictly observing the ablution decreed in the Quran. Any additional steps represent another god besides God.

    The Major Ablution

Following any sexual activity that results in a climax (o****m/ejaculation), one must bath or take a shower (4:43).

    The Dry Ablution (Tayammum)

If water is not available, one must touch clean dry soil, then wipe his hands and face. This suffices as a substitute for ablution (4:43, 5:6).

    What Nullifies Ablution

Digestive excretions through the intestines, including gas, solids, or urine nullify ablution. Sleeping also nullifies ablution, since one becomes unaware. Thus one may observe a number of Contact Prayers with one ablution, provided he or she does not go to the bathroom, pass gas, or fall asleep.

HOW TO PERFORM THE CONTACT PRAYERS

    1. Face the direction of Mecca (Qiblah):

This is an organizational point decreed by God in 2:125. God wills that all submitters must face the same direction when they observe the contact prayers. In the U.S.A., the direction is slightly South of East.

    2. The Intention

In your own language, secretly or audibly, state your intention that you are about to observe the Contact Prayer. Remember to state the time (Dawn, Noon, Afternoon, Sunset, or Night).

    3. Raise your hands to the sides of your face:

Your thumbs touch your ears, and the palms of your hands face forward.

    4. Say "Allahu Akbar".

As you raise your hands to the sides of your face, then move them down to your sides in a continuous motion, you say, "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great). This opens up the prayer. You are in contact with your Creator.

    5. The Standing Position:

You are now standing with you arms resting naturally at your side. Some people place the left hand on the stomach, and the right hand on top of the left hand. Either position is correct - you may place your hands on your stomach while standing, or you may let your arms hang down by your sides.

    6. Recite "The Key" (Sura 1) in Arabic:

We learn from 2:37 that God gives us the words by which we establish contact with Him. We must utter the specific sounds dictated in "The Key". A translation of "The Key" would be human-made. The Arabic sounds of "The Key" represent a numerical combination that opens the treasure. Like a telephone number, unless a specific numbers are dialed, contact cannot be established. This is all the Arabic you need. Everything else can be said in your language. Reciting "The Key" in Arabic unifies all Submitters of the world, regardless of their languages.

Since "The Key" is recited 17 times a day, it will become easy for you to recite and understand in a few weeks; it will become like your mother tongue.

    7. The bowing position (Rukoo)

After reciting "The Key" while standing, you bow down into the position of Rukoo`. As shown in the figure, you bow down from the waist, keep the knees straight, and place your hands on your knees. Your eyes look at a point about 2 feet in front of you.

As you move from the standing position to the bowing position you say, "Allahu Akbar".

While bowing you say "Subhaana Rabbiyal Azeem" or "Glory be to God, the Great" or "God be glorified" for short.

    8 Stand Up:

As you stand up from the bowing position to the standing position you say, "Sami`Allahu Liman Hamidah" or "God responds to those who praise Him".

You stay in the standing position only a second, then you fall prostrate. As you go from the standing position to the prostration position you say, "Allahu Akbar".

    9. The Prostration Position (Sujood):

From the standing position you go down on your knees, then place your forehead on the floor about 1-2 feet in front of your knees.

During prostration you say, "Subhaana Rabbiyal A`laa" or “Glory be to God, the Most High” or "God be glorified" for short .

    10. The Sitting Position.

As you sit up from the prostration position, you say, "Allahu Akbar." You remain in the sitting position only for a second, then you go down for the second prostration.

As you go down for the second prostration you say, "Allahu Akbar."

During the second prostration you say, "Subhaana Rabbiyal A`laa" or “Glory be to God, the Most High” or "God be glorified" for short Once you complete the second prostration, you have completed one full unit (Rak`ah).

    11. Stand up for the second unity (Rak`ah).

As you stand up you say, "Allahu Akbar."

    The Dawn Prayer

This Contact Prayer consists of 2 units.

    Repeat steps 5 through 11.

Thus, when you get from the second prostration you say, "Allahu Akbar," and assume the sitting position. While in the sitting position you pronounce the First Pillar of Submission, the shahhaadah:

Ash-Hadu An Laa Elaaha Ellaa Allah, Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lah.

(I bear witness that there is no other god beside God. He ALONE is God; He has no partner).

Look to the right and say, "Assalaamu Alaikum," then to the left and say the same. This completes the Dawn Prayer.

    The Noon Prayer

This prayer consists of 4 units. Thus, you do the first two units exactly as explained for the Dawn Prayer up to the sitting position. You pronounce the First Pillar (known as "Shahaadah") then you stand up for the third unit. You do not utter the Salaams (Assalamu Alaikum).

As you stand up for the third unit you say, "Allahu Akbar." The third and fourth units are identical to the first two units.

When you get up from the second prostration of the fourth unit, you say "Allahu Akbar" and you assume the sitting position. In the sitting position you pronounce the Shahaahah, and you say the Salaams on both sides. This concludes the Noon Prayer.

    The Afternoon Prayer

This prayer is identical to the Noon Prayer. Only the "Intention" of course is different.

    The Sunset Prayer

This prayer consists of three units. Steps of each unit are just as detailed above. Thus, when you complete the second prostration of the second unit, you assume the sitting position, recite the Shahaadah, then you continue to the third and last unit. After the second prostration of the third unit, you assume the setting position, recite the Shahaadah again, then utter the Salaams on both sides. This concludes the Sunset Prayer.

    The Night Prayer

This prayer is identical with the other 4-unit prayers, the Noon and the Afternoon Prayers.

Your Tone of Voice During the Contact Prayers

    You shall not be too loud during your Contact Prayers, nor shall you say them secretly; you shall maintain an intermediate tone [17:110}

  10. Oh my God. Bring out the krabby patties.

Its gonna take a while to read these answers

  11. We have answered your questions a number of times. It is the people who wish to keep their doors and minds closed. And no logic and guidance can make them see.

"Whomever God guides, there is NONE who can misguide him. And whomever God misguides, there is absolutely none who can guide him".

A careful study of the Quran reveals that a certain number of confusions will continue. With time and at APPROPRIATE times, as per the will of God, things will be clarified. But then new things will also come up to leave a certain confusion. This is JUST to test the people. Those who are GUIDED by God, will OBEY his commands and thus WILL be satisfied with following "Quran Alone". While those who are WICKED. They MUST stay with the opposition. Thus they will ALWAYS be inclined to sources OTHER than Quran. They CAN NEVER EVER be satisfied with "Quran Alone".

The MOST rock solid verse in this regard is 17:46, which leaves ABSOLUTELY no doubt that the TRUE believer will find NO objection in the Quran Alone. And will strive to stick to Quran Alone.

To you is your belief and your religion, to us is ours. We are FULLY and FULLY satisfied with Quran Alone. And We LOOK forward ONLY to God for our redemption and His Mercy. We do not idolize powerless creatures like Mohammad, Jesus, Musa (Moses) and Dawood (David).

  12. These people are very much insincere to the Qur'aan. Their entire methodology collapses upon itself. Many of them do not understand the Qur'aan nor read it except that they read in English.

You ask them about their Salawaat, but they can easily deny it and say that Salaah is a prayer and they pray in whatever fashion they like without following any of the Ahkaam and Arkaan of the Salaat.

However, ask them how they read the Qur'aan? Because without Hadeeth they would never be able to read it.

The Arabic language is not written with the Tashaakeel on it, that was transmitted until it was written centuries later.

Without this fundamental TRANSMISSION, they would distort the Qur'aan and commit major kufr (which they already do by the rejection of the Sunnah).

For example, in Surah al Faatihah Allaah says: إيّاك نعبد

What is the difference between إيّاك and إياك? Without the Tashkeel (the Shaddah in this case) they would not know, and most likely they would read it as the latter, which would become Kufr Akbar!!

What about the Ahkaam an-Noon as-Saakinah? This is a fundamental rule in Tajweed which was transmitted by the Scholars and the narrators of Hadeeth. Without this, they cannot recite the Qur'aan. It's not found in spoken Arabic.

How would they know the Huroof al Halq if it was not narrated to them by the scholars of Tajweed?

So the following Huroof: الهمزة، والهاء، والعين، والحـاء، والغين، والخاء will cause the following: تُظهَران for example: وَيَنْأَوْنَ or مَنْ آمَنَ. How would they recite this without Ahkaam an-Noon as Saakinah which is a transmission like the Hadeeth?

What about مَـدُّ اللين? Recite this without the Tashaakeel الصيف How would you recite it without knowing where the Noon as-Saakinah takes place?

And the examples of this are many.

    EDIT:

    Muhammad K:

    You evaded all my points.

Then you quoted a verse which seriously damages your beliefs. Allaah says: واولوا العلم قائما بالقسط

And who are they? You? Definitely not you. You cannot even understand basic Arabic and Sarf.

I never said the Qur'aan is "Hard to Understand". For a person who cannot read it, then it's hard to understand. If you cannot read a language you cannot understand its meaning therefore you rely on the interpretations of the meaning from men, not Allaah. And you can NOT understand the Qur'aan without the transmission due to the reasons I mentioned.

You basically made a foolish distortion of the Qur'aan in your claims. There is no foundation in your argument, you're just taking the lies and distortions of the Qur'aaniyyeen from the Submitters cult. I've dealt with them and read all their articles and refuted them line by line using the Qur'aan alone. The problem is you people refuse to understand the Language of the Qur'aan.

"your name suggests that you are arab."

The logic of this sentence is just too ignorant to reply to. Abul Haarith suggests I am Arab. I'm not going to answer you whether I am Arab or not, but I want to point out the mendacity of such an asinine statement. "Your name is Mark, that means you MUST be a Disbeliever!" or "Your name is Muhammad, that means you MUST be an Arab" The Kunya has been used by non-Arab alike, I can point out many with the Kunya "Aboo Abdillaah" who are africans.

As for the verse you quoted, I refuted this over and over and exposed your intentional distortion of the Qur'aan.

أعراب is not عرب the جمع of عرب is العرب not أعراب You should stop talking and LEARN Arabic before you talk about it. The مفرد of أعراب is أعرابي. You are clearly ignorant in the Arabic language, I provided evidences of this from the Arabic language. I cannot keep spoon feeding you whilst you adamantly reject the rules of Sarf and Imlaa'

Your own head has been smashed by the hammer you tried to harm me with. It's really humiliating that you tried to refute someone but ended up exposing your own ignorance.

I cannot understand how someone completely ignorant of morphology and the Jam' and Mufrad of words in the language speak about it as if they know all.

al-Azharee said:  ÃƒÂ˜Ã‚±Ã˜Â¬Ã™Â„ عربي إذا كان نسبه في العرب ثابتاً ، وإن لم يكن فصيحاً ، وجمعه العرب

"A man is Arab if his ascription to the Arab (note the plural usage) is affirmed, and even if he is not Faseeh (in his language), and the plural of it is al-'Arab"

And Ibn Mandhoor says in his Leesanul 'Arab:

كما يقال : رجل مجوسي ويهودي ، والجمع ، بحذف ياء النسبة ، اليهود والمجوس

Just as it is said: Majoosee and Yahoodi. And the Plural is by the omission of the Yaa an-Nisbah (the Yaa of ascription): al-Yahood and Al-Majoos.

So why dont you say Amjaas or Ayhood if your pluralizing is correct?

And he continues: ورجل معرب إذا كان فصيحاً ، وإن كان عجمي النسب

((And a man becomes a Arab if he is Faseeh (meaning he speaks the original language of Arabic, even if he is a non-Arab by ascription))
