To a worker in mcdonalds..?

Question

Is seeing what goes on behind the counter enough to put you off eating mcdonalds for life?

Is it really dirty and stuff?

I used to work at McDonalds in Manhattan. They were really big on cleanliness and sanitizing everything. We had a schedule we had to adhere to as far as that. Hands washed (or sanitized) every hour (unless you touch yourself, another worker, floor, use bathroom etc then you had to do it immediately)

Counters were wiped with sanitizer every hour, floors mopped frequently, anything that falls on floor or gets unwrapped is thrown away....

At least in the store I worked in, the place was generally spotless. Even the bathrooms - which is a feat in itself in a public restroom in NYC.....

It's really not dirty, they make you clean everything, and you have to wash your hands 12386 times a day.  The main reason that past employees of the resturant (such as myself) stay away from eating there now is because being around the food all the time, you just get sick of it.

No because it is not dirty and nothing bad goes on there....they keep it extremely clean....

I've worked at Macca's for almost three years now, I love it! We're also strict on the cleanliness of our store, I'm real bossy when it comes to quality! No working around it doesn't put me off, i don't eat alot of the fatty c**p, i stick to making my own meals...sometimes i'll bring in a plain wholemeal roll, then just chuck salad & a crispy patty on it...

No. I used to work at a McDonalds and, yes, that place was disgusting sometimes. But, I ate there all the time, the food still tasted good, and I never got sick because of it.

The McDonalds I work at now is really clean and everything, so I definitely don't have any problems with it.

McDonals id pretty clean. They require their employess to sanatize their hands every half hour. I was a manager theere for 4 years, the only reason I will never eat there again is cause I got tired of looking at the food.
