How old were you when you started acting? Was it in a play? Would you say that acting is your passion? Do you think its possible for someone whose never acted before to make the school play at age 15? What's the most outrageous part you've ever played? What's the most difficult part you've ever played? The easiest?

  1. i was 3,    and it was a commercile , im 13 now and have been 5, and yes acting is passion.

You can play a part in a school play if you put you mind to it.

i've played agustis gloup ( i'm a girl and only 75 pounds-but not tall) from charlie and the chochlait factory

    ps-sorry about spelling

  2. I was 7 years old when i was in my first play. It was for community theatre though.

I love acting, but its not my passion. Music is my passion and i'm a vocally trained singer

i'd say musical theatre is in the middle of that spectrum. lol its like the best of both worlds.

Hun, its only a school play. So what if your 15 and just starting out. Its no big deal. I'm sure you'll do fine. And if your nervous, find someone who already has been in some plays and work with them on dialogue. Its not like your going out for a movie role or anything.

hmm i'm 17 years old now.. a senior in high school.

The most outrageous role i've ever played had to be my freshman year...it was about a 2 teens and (this may not be appropiate to you-sorry!) this boy thought his girlfriend (me) would leave him for the jock, mr. wonderful. So basically it revolved around him having these thoughts of what i could possibly be doing with the jock like cheating with him, because my boyfriend thought i wouldn't want him anymore cause we hadn't had s*x yet. lol I acted out his dreams bascially. And it seriously was probably the most embarrasing part ever, but the lights faded out on the stage and me and jock had to pretend we were having s*x, and i had to make moaning noises while my boyfriend is like screaming in his sleep lol messed up i know. think about my parents having to watch that.

Most difficult part...would be right now. lol I'm now working with Civic Theatre, (community theatre a few towns away) and we're doing Sweeney Todd. I'm Mrs. Lovett and my god its challenging. Sondheim really knew how to make the music structure difficult. Its just vocally challenging while trying to act out everything.

The easiest...i was a lawyer during this play called "Friendly Competition". It was a comedy...and yeah. I was only in for like two scenes, but yeah. lol

Good luck on your school play! =]

  3. I was 11 in the slightly cheesy play of High School Musical for my middle school. Yes, it is my complete and total passion, I love everything about it. I think anything is possible if you try your hardest and set your mind to it and practice practice practice (it makes perfect.) The most outrageous part I played was a daughter in Pirates of Penance. We were so giggly and girlie and it was so fun and hilariously over acted. None of the parts I played were extremely difficult or easy but components of acting to me are hard and easy. I hate being let down at auditions because I think that I am a bad actress because I didn't get in. I get so hard on myself, but then I have to pick myself up and try again. The easiest part for me is the performances. I swear I was born to be on that stage with the spotlight and the cheering crowd. It feels so natural to me.
